Foxglovvey Weirdness
Has anybody ever seen a foxglove do this before? They were grown from seed, and planted out in the shade of the front hedge. There are two plants which have done this weirdness, and they are approximately the same colour as each other. They look perfectly normal, with the flowers progressively opening up the stem, and then at the top they have come out with someplant else's flower.

Something pretty from the garden
We have been living here for two years now, and I am beginning to be thoroughly satisfied with the garden. We have beaten a few green thugs into submission, and filled a lot of the gaps with plants that are much more to our taste. Pictured is the result of five minutes wandering about with a pair of scissors in my hand. My Mum would have been pleased with us.

Just because I can
![]() | |
| Spring is here and so is a decent bit of wire between us and the telephone exchange. We have BROADBAND. It is great - I am now able to put up a proper post. I am also rejoicing in the ability of being able to look at various blogs etc. which had just too much content to get them through the mobile device. Such as "Dovegreyreader". This is already going to increase my household expenses - there was a book that I was humming and haahing about, but she reckons it is very good so that will have to go onto my little list. |
No longer will I have to play endless games of solitaire while I wait for something to download - the only way I could keep from putting my shoe through the screen in frustration. Not to mention the time it took to get photos up to Ravelry.
I've come over all Cornish - there is only one thing I can say - "Proper job!"
